Stay Hydrated
You often hear the phrase ‘stay hydrated’ and we all take this for granted most of the time without really looking at the function of water as a whole. However, have you ever thought of the effects of this?
The human body is made up of at least 60-70% water thus making it one of the most important nutrients we require, as well as providing essential functions such as the base fluid of blood and acting as a transportation system of the body. It helps to transport nutrients, oxygen, vitamins, and minerals whilst simultaneously transporting the waste products to the excretory organs.
Staying hydrated before, during and after exercising is important as this allows our body to regulate our temperature, transport nutrients such as oxygen to fuel muscles and avoid dehydration as our body loses fluid when we sweat.
During all personal training sessions, we ensure free bottled water is available.
